Continuing Development

Well, it's Independence Day weekend, and I'm still working. I'm glad, though. A Collection of Reflections is moving along quite well. I've sent in my first revision of the layout, and I'm fairly pleased. I also found out that there is going to be a change. To be able to keep my illustrations in color, I'm going to have to change from hardcover to softcover. It was a tough call, but some of the illustrations would just not look nice in grayscale. Besides that, it'll bring the cost down a bit, so I guess that's good. My agency has also asked me to attend the Book Expo USA in New York this upcoming year. I don't know if I'll be able to go yet, but I certainly hope I can. I'm going to get as much information as I can on it, and see what I can do. Hopefully, I'll be able to get all of the remaining work done on A Collection of Reflections within the month and get my press releases out there. I'm ready to do some PR. I really want to market this baby and get some things going. I'm also working really hard on Poisoned Apples, my latest book idea. I'm hoping to get it drafted before I move up to Troy in August.
