I've really been slacking on this blog and I feel bad about it. Life has been a little crazy, but it'll make for good literature later.
I've decided to do NaNoWriMo this year, and I'm really nervous. Having published one book, you'd think I'd be over the nerves. I'm not. I decided to work on my favorite brain-child for this, and I sincerely hope it doesn't end up going awfully.
By the end of November, I'm hoping to have finished Poisoned Apples.

I Write Like...for Poisoned Apples
My friend Lain sent me this wonderful site that analyzes your writing and tells you what author you write like. I'm going to test it with different pieces of my work to see if it changes at all.
I submitted a chapter from Poisoned Apples, and it told me:

Intentions for the Future
Where do I start?
Well...I intend to pursue a career in writing. I have changed my major. I am no longer seeking an English/Language Arts Education degree at Troy. I've switched to an English Major with a Business Administration Minor. I intend to find a job in the publishing business, as well as continuing to write.
My ultimate goal is to be able to afford writing full-time.
I am currently in the process of completing the outlining process for Poisoned Apples, and intend to begin work on the first draft of the manuscript some time this year.
Here's Hoping,
Chelsea L. Clemmons

Shout-Out of the Day: Lauren Cadahia
So, this girl is one of the most awesome friends I have. We RP all the time, and she does a great job of keeping my muse whipped into shape. If it weren't for her, I would never have dreamed up Poisoned Apples. She's always willing to listen to my ideas and give me advice. She has been a great inspiration to me, and I value her friendship and advice. She does a great deal for my writing.

More Progress/Sad Obsession With Harry Potter
Well, I signed off on the final layout revision for A Collection of Reflections last night, and am looking forward to finishing up the publication process. Can't wait to sign copies for people kind enough to buy it.
Am having a Harry Potter marathon with one of my best friends, Christi Owens. =] Gah! Snape is SO wonderful! Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Sad, right? I adore them, though. I also do quite a bit of hanging around on the Harry Potter Dialogue Centre. If you'd like, you can look me up. I spend most of my time on the Slytherin House Board, and my screen name is indigoxeyes. I do, of course, use an alias on there. If you come across Aurora, that's me. You can find a link to the Slytherin House Board in my list of favorite links.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next two installments in the movie saga. Draco=LOVE. And Helena Bonham-Carter is INCREDIBLE as Bellatrix. <3<3<3
Anyway, I'm off to work on Poisoned Apples for a bit. I know who I'd want cast for both Kieran (Lauren's love interest) and Rolf (Kieran's mentor and protector). If you'd like to know my choices, go on over to my official forum, click on the Projects board, and click on Poisoned Apples. It's in my most recent post. =]
